Howardian Hills Alliance
Hovingham CE (VC) Primary School is a member of the Howardian Hills Alliance. Hovingham plays a part in the cluster of 12 local schools: Hovingham C of E, St. Hildas, Sand Hutton CE, Warthill CE, Slingsby CP, Gillamoor, Foston CE, Terrington VA, Langton CP, Welburn CP, Leavening CE, Nawton and Rosedale CP Federation. The schools work closely together to provide a range of sporting events and special curriculum days for all the pupils. It provides the children with opportunities to meet new friends to develop their social skills and work in new settings to help them meet new challenges.
Esk Valley Alliance
Since September 2015, Hovingham CE (VC) Primary School has been a part of the Esk Valley Teaching Alliance. This has already resulted in teachers and teaching assistants attending shared training and also teacher involvement in a research project.
